We believe that learning should be both rewarding and enjoyable. We like to give children the opportunity to engage in learning outside of the classroom environment.
We regularly take advantage of using Newnham village's surrounding woods, fields, ponds, streams and farms as an educational resource.
At Newnham we fully respect that every school needs to be held accountable for how this money is spent, which is why we make details of how it is used available on our website. Please click here to see the information.
Information about our most recent Ofsted report is available here.
As a school we are very well resourced. We ensure our children have access to the latest information technology, including interactive smart TVs in every classroom and two mobile, wireless laptop trolleys with laptops and chrome books. There is a fiction and non-fiction library and a host of equipment and materials to support all the areas of our creative curriculum. We constantly improve the amount and variety of resources.
At Newnham we believe that learning should excite and inspire children to reach their full potential. We accept that every child is different and celebrate achievement in all areas. We prepare children to be independent by encouraging personal and social development as well as academic successes.
We have a Reading Scheme online that all our pupils access called 'Bug Club'. Please click here to access the website.
