Welcome To Newnham Primary School

I hope you find our new website both useful and informative. The intention is to give you a flavour of life at our school.

We are a rural, village primary school of just 89 pupils. Our small size means that each child is valued and treated as an individual with the ability to succeed.

At Newnham children are the centre of everything we do. In our recent inspection, Ofsted judged that in our good and rapidly improving school, ‘excellent attention is paid to the pupils’ well-being.’ They also commented on our ‘overwhelming ethos of care and support that enables the pupils to thrive in both their academic and personal development’.

Our core aim as a school is to ensure that all children achieve their full personal and academic potential. We provide a learning environment and school ethos in which children can flourish and develop an enthusiasm for learning along with a desire for personal excellence.

If there is anything you wish to know that you cannot find here on the website, please do feel free to contact us. If you would like to come and see the school, we would be delighted to show you around and answer your questions. We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
